Jenna Gonzales is a program associate at the San Antonio Area Foundation in the area of annual responsive grants. In that role, she oversees the grant-making process for arts and culture and medicine and healthcare. Additionally, she manages the Reggie Williams Resource Library, assisting library users who are researching funding opportunities and statistical information for grant proposals.
Jenna joined the Area Foundation in March 2015 as a program assistant for strategic initiatives as part of the Strengthening Nonprofits capacity building grant-making initiative. Before that, she enjoyed a 10-year career in nonprofit administration with roles in museums, cultural arts centers, and performing arts theaters in Texas and Oregon.
Jenna holds a Bachelor of Arts from Portland State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management at the University of Texas at San Antonio where she also worked as a graduate research assistant.
